Got up and dusted myself off. Got in the car and immediately began to cry like baby. It hurt REALLY bad. I thought maybe I just sprained it.
Got home and wrapped and iced it, still crying like a baby. Waited for Willie to get home to take me to the ER. Called my mom, and she said that her and my dad were on their way. Wow, what a day to go to University in COMO. MU game across the street and it was nuts! Got checked into ER, was seen in triage, and told them my pain was a 9, maybe I would be seen sooner? Got in a wheelchair and waited, and waited, and waited! Drunks were stumbling around, bloody head wounds from fights, bloody faces, people were just pissing me off! Mu pain pill that I took when I got home after the fall was wearing off and I was hurting bad! People were getting called back finally...but only for triage! The ER was full! Nobody was being called back to be seem by a dr! Guess they were all at the game! 2 hours of waiting and still nothing but more injured drunks coming in. It was time to go! Drove to Kirksville and was seen and x-rayed immediately! Ankle is broken! Was put in an air splint and sent home.
Got to see Dr. Turnbaugh on Tuesday and he put a cast on it and to be seem again in 2 weeks.
What a sucky past couple of months!
